Club Penguin Wiki: Voting Policy

Club Penguin Wiki, a democratic wiki in which every user represents a thing in community to the wiki. To make our wiki democratic all of the decisions are taken to community vote first, to hear the voice of our community (from normal users, chat mods, rollbacks, admins and even bureaucrats), after a discussion take place (if needed only). Their are many things that involves voting in our wiki, we have Penguin of the Month, Featured Article and Featured Image, these are monthly votes. Also, their are many votes taking place, which takes place in vote page of the wiki, which involves like demoting a user, removing/adding a policy etc.

To vote you must ...

An example of how Club Penguin Wiki votes are conducted.

• Be an active user that edits and takes place in this wiki events and activities.
• Be unblocked if you're blocked, to take place in any votes.
• Have at least 50 mainspace edits to vote.
• Take an admin confirmation if you want to nominate.

Some instruction when nominating/voting for Penguin of the Month

• Similarly, you must be an active user in the wiki.
• If you're blocked, you can vote for the Penguin of the Month.
• Your friends are not allowed to vote for if you're blocked or not blocked.
• You're not allowed to vote for a user just because he is a friend.
• You are allowed to comment, but if the comment involves making fun of the user, teasing him (His name, religion or any other thing).
• Take an admin confirmation if you want to nominate.
• Any mass-message advertising about a vote is against our policy.

Some instruction when nominating/voting for Featured Article

• Similarly, you must be an active user in the wiki.
• If you're blocked, you can vote for the Featured Article.
• Your friends are not allowed to vote for if you're blocked or not blocked.
• You're not allowed to vote for a user just because he is a friend.
• You are allowed to comment, but if the comment involves making fun of the page, or teasing users who edited the page.
• Take an admin confirmation if you want to nominate.
• You're not allowed to nominate a page which have a bad content.
• Any mass-message advertising about a vote is against our policy.

• Similarly, you must be an active user in the wiki.
• If you're blocked, you can vote for the Featured Image.
• Your friends are not allowed to vote for if you're blocked or not blocked.
• You're not allowed to vote for a user just because he is a friend.
• You are allowed to comment, but if the comment involves making fun of the page, or teasing users who edited the page.
• Take an admin confirmation if you want to nominate.
• You're not allowed to nominate an image involving bad contents.
• Any mass-message advertising about a vote is against our policy.

The results if you broke the above rules...

• If an inactive user voted - Vote will be removed as soon as he/she votes.
• If an user having less than 50 mainspace - Vote will be removed as soon as he/she votes.
• If a friend voted instead of you - Vote will be removed as soon as he/she votes.
• If an user nominate without an admin confirmation - Your nomination will be removed.
• If an user votes for an user due to friendship (If he/she includes in comment) - It would instantly be removed.
• If an user makes a comment which involves bad content (from teasing, making fun, swearing etc) - He/she vote will be removed and a block for three days.
• If an user nominates an image which contains bad contents - He/she will be blocked for 7 days.
• If an user make mass-message advertising about a vote - Three warning, if he/she don't remove the advertisements, then a block for three days.

Two more things...

• These rules apply for all other votes, like Wall of Fame.
• You may get an infinite block if you broke the rules more than 3/4 times, if needed.
